Medical Record Review & Second Opinion

Thank you for reaching out to me. I appreciate the trust involved in asking me to review your medical situation, and I would be happy to help.

I created my Medical Record Review & Second Opinion Service for people who may live outside California or outside the United States, already have their own physicians, but would like another experienced set of eyes to look carefully at the entire picture.

The initial comprehensive review is $2,600. Before giving you my opinion, I personally review the relevant records you provide, including your medical history, physician notes, laboratory results, medications, imaging reports, cardiac testing, prior procedures, and recommendations you have received. My goal is not simply to read your records back to you, but to step back and look at the case as a whole.

Importantly, I am not replacing your local physician or taking over your medical care. This is an independent second opinion and consultative review. Your own doctors remain responsible for examining you, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting local testing, and making final treatment decisions. I am here as an additional resource—to help you and your medical team look at the situation from another perspective.

After the initial review, if you have focused follow-up questions, receive a new result, or want clarification regarding one of my recommendations, follow-up email reviews are $260 each.

Sometimes a second opinion identifies another possibility or approach. Other times, it simply provides the reassurance that your current doctors are doing exactly what I would recommend. Both can be very valuable.
